MIHÁLY KERÉNYI, director
has received his degree at the Budapest Film Academy. Trained originally as a musician, he plays several instruments. He made his first concert film in 1983, the same year he began to direct opera films. For a decade and a half he was working in theaters and video studios throughout the United States, Austria and France. Upon his return to his native country, Mr. Kerényi directed musical programs for several television stations, while working as stage director in the Hungarian State Opera. Recently he specialises mostly on concert videos. Since 2005 Mr. Kerenyi is president of Hungarian Society of Directors.



András Kőrösi, Chief Cinematographer

He completed his studies in the department „Videocommunication and applied– video” of ELTE university at the faculty of Social Sciences in 1996. In 2006, he was selected a member of the Hungarian Society of Cinematographers. His work with title Népzene-biológia (Folk music – biology) was awarded in the category of documentary films by the Hungarian Film Week in 2005. At the final round of Camera - Hungary in 2006, two of his works achieved 1st prize.:The literary show called „Bestseller” won at the Best Report category, and the show Dob+Basszus (Drum+Bass) (chief operator) was selected to have the best theme. He was among the candidates to win the special prize of Camera-Hungary in 2007 for his work as a cinematographer. The program Dob+Bass was awarded no.1 by Camera-Hungary in 2008.

 In 2009, the movie titled Apró dolgok (Little things) (op.) won the prizes best script and best director at the category Best Short Film of the 40th Hungarian Film Week.



Molnár Géza, Cinematographer
He finished his studies in the Academy of Television and Radio Broadcasting in the U.S. in 2004. Since he returned to Hungary, he has mainly  assisted TV programs and commercials as a Cinematographer. He was the Assistant Cinematographer oof the short film titles Éjfél (Midnight) in 2009, furthermore he was the Chief Cinematographer of the film called Nagyfülű Artúr Kalandjai (Adventures of Big - Eared Arthur) .

 

István Perger, Sound Engineer
After finsishing polytechnic, he did his first job helping his father at the shoot of the film titled Senki Földje (Noone’s land). Later on, he individually made voice recordings of several films on the spot, e.g. :  A világ legkisebb alapítványa (The smallest charity of the world) /Ferenc Kardos/, Honfoglalás (Conquest)/Gábor Koltai/, Gengszterfilm (Gangster Movie) /György Szomjas/, Au pair / Mark Griffith am. Comedy/, Portugál (Portuguese) /Andor Lukáts/, Pizzás (Pizzaman) /György Balog/, Tiszta lappal (New start) / Péter Gothár and so on. Beside the films, he is employed by several national (TV2, RTL klub, MTV, Duna TV) and international (BBC, HBO, ZDF, ARTE) channels as a Sound Engineer. Furthermore, he contributes to video clips, commercials, reference movies with his expertise, and creates recordings for professional musicians and bands.

Mónika Doszpod, Editor

After finishing the school, she edited numerous classical concerts, collaborating with director, Mihály Kerényi. One of such works is the Megérthető Zene (Understandable Music) concert series, introduced in the Academy of Music in 2009, and later on program in the Italian Institute. Furthermore, she also deals with video clips, films portraits, and TV magazines.
